Open Access Policy

1. Creative Commons License

All articles published in SIDJ are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

You are free to:

• Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
• Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material

Under the following terms:

• Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
• NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
• ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.

2. Benefits of Open Access

Open Access publishing allows for:

• Higher visibility and impact of research.
• Rapid dissemination of scientific findings.
• Equality of access to scientific information regardless of institutional wealth.
• Compliance with funder mandates.

3. Self-Archiving Policy (Green Open Access)

Authors are permitted to deposit all versions of their paper (Pre-print, Manuscript Accepted Version, Published Version/Version of Record) in an institutional or other repository of their choice without embargo. We encourage authors to link to the published version using the DOI.

4. Digital Preservation

The Journal maintains long-term digital preservation through partnerships with CLOCKSS, LOCKSS, and the PKP Preservation Network. This ensures that the digital content remains accessible even if the journal ceases to publish.

5. Article Processing Charges (APC)

As an open-access journal, SIDJ may require Article Processing Charges to cover the costs of peer review management, website maintenance, and digital archiving. Detailed information regarding APCs can be found in the "Information for Authors" section.
